The Department of Public and International Law at the University of Oslo invites you to participate at the Conference "Parliaments in the Open Government Era" in Oslo 14 - 15 January 2015.
Programme
The programme is built up around the main aim of the conference, which is to explore and discuss issues related to the role played by the parliamentary institutions in securing and promoting the idea of Open government.
Symposium papers
Papers and presentations from the conference will be posted online.
Travel
Information about transportation, visa requirements, and the main tourist attractions in Oslo and the Oslo region.
Venue
The congress will be held in Theologisk eksamenssal in Domus Academica in the historic University buildings situated in the Oslo city centre. (Please notice change of venue from Auditorium 13 to Theologisk eksamenssal)
Registration
The conference is open for all, and registration is not necessary.

Information about the Conference
The conference will be the 8th in a series of international symposiums on the topic Open Government, organized by the Department of Public and International Law, University of Oslo, University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne and IMODEV (Improving Public Policies).
The ambition of the conference in Oslo is to focus on national Parliaments and their different challenges with Open Government. The conference wants to engage in a constructive dialogue towards more democratic participation and transparency.
