The project promotes freedom of religion or belief in Orthodox Christian societies. Through internal Orthodox debate, it stimulates innovative reflections on the relation between Church and human rights. The NORHED II project, Partnership for Peace: Better Higher Education for Resilient Societies and the Research School on Peace and Conflict will hold the PhD-level course "Gender, Peace and Conflict" from 23 – 25 May 2022. 

This weekend, the Constitutionalism Research Institute at China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) held a NCHR supported workshop on gender equality and human rights for 23 Chinese university teachers in Shenzhen, China. The aim of the workshop was to inspire more Chinese university teachers to include gender equality in their teaching activities.
