Technology provides new opportunities in the legal domain. For example, legal services can be provided at lower costs to the public through a smartphone app or website, and machine learning can assist lawyers in decision making.
This spring, the Legal Innovation Lab Oslo (LILO) was established to offer guidance and support for legal tech projects initiated by students. LILO is also a venue for meeting staff, other students and third parties with an interest in technology and the law. Programming skills are not required.
