Final oral round for Nuremberg moot competition

Wednesday the 21st of June, CELL and the Faculty arrange oral round for our Nuremberg team.

During the academic year of 2022/2023, four teams will be representing the Faculty in different international moot competitions. As part of the oral preparations, we are organizing dress rehearsals for one of these teams. The oral round is the final step for the student to get their study points. The oral round for Nuremberg will take place on the 21st of June at Gamle Festsal.

About Nuremberg

The Nuremberg Moot Court is an international competition, held in English in Nuremberg, Germany. University teams from all over the world are invited to argue a fictitious case before the "International Criminal Court" during the competition. A moot court is a simulated court proceeding which invites students of law to compete based on their oral and written legal argumentation and presentation, from both the prosecution and defence positions.

Program

  • 12.15 pm – 12.20 pm Welcome and information about the project
  • 12.20 pm – 12.30 pm Introduction of the Nuremberg team
  • 12.30 pm – 2.00 pm The Nuremberg team will be on stage. 2 x 45 minutes
