Proposals for Candidates
This year's Faculty Board Election will elect representatives and alternate/deputy representatives for the Faculty Board positions from the following four groups:
- Technical-Administrative employees (1 representative + 2 alternate/deputy representatives, 4-year position)
- Academic staff in permanent positions (2 representatives + 2 alternate/deputy representatives, 4-year position)
- Academic staff in temporary positions (1 representative + 2 alternate/deputy representatives, 1-year position)
- Students (1 representative independent of JSU + 1 alternate/deputy representative independent of JSU, 1-year position)
The alternate/deputy representatives will be ranked in accordance with the number of votes.
Proposals for candidates may be sent to the Electoral Board's Secretary Andreas Mobråthen, at andreas.mobrathen@jus.uio.no, by no later than 06.11.2023.
The election will be conducted according to the election regulations for the University of Oslo.
Requirements for Candidate Proposals
Candidate proposals must be signed by at least the same number of people as the number of candidates proposed. The proposers must have the right to vote in the relevant election and in the relevant electoral group. Proposals should indicate whether the candidate is willing to take on the position or not. Information about whether the proposal is aimed at a specific position or whether the candidate is only willing to take on one of the positions is irrelevant to the technical implementation of the election, and may only be relevant to the preferences of the voters.
The election is planned to be held as an electronic election from 21 to 30 November 2023.
