Book Launch:
Coventry University will organise a book launch of the "Research Handbook on Democracy and Development" which will take place on 15 June 2021, from 16.00-17.00 Oslo time. The launch will include a discussion with the editors of the Handbook, Professor Gordon Crawford from Coventry University and Professor Abdul-Gafaru Abdulai, from the University of Ghana Business School. In addition, the launch will also feature video contributions from the authors of the book, including Professor Bård Anders Andreassen, Norwegian Centre for Human Rights.

About the Handbook:
The Handbook examines the relationship between democracy and socio-economic development. It explores a variety of issues including economic growth, poverty and human development, inequality, corruption, conflict, human rights, and environmental sustainability from multidisciplinary perspectives across Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
