Monday 29 April 2024, Professor Andreas Føllesdal will present aspects of his forthcoming book on Subsidiarity and International Law.

Regrettably, our speaker, Raji Sourani, could not make it because of family reasons.

Professor Gentian Zyberi has stepped in and can provide an update for those interested on the situation in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories. He will focus on the cases before the International Court of Justice, the Palestinian application for membership to the UN, and the adverse effects on education for pupils and students of the 200 days of war in Gaza. Various domestic legal processes concerning prosecution of crimes committed in Gaza and the transfer of weapons to Israel will be covered. There will be enough time reserved for a Q&A session.
