Methodological issues

The understanding of historic changes in law implies a broad use of legal methods by which the law is examined within the contexts of social and political history. The research group emphasizes the questions and methodology of jurisprudence as its basis, but wants to promote varied methodological inputs on the relationship between time and law. The examining of legal communication in society through visual means is one such input.
