The Steering Committee of the SMART Network has published a call for papers for the first SMART Network Symposium, Sustainability is (Still) Possible! Governing Market Actors for a Safe and Just Space. The symposium will be followed by a SMART Network Meeting. The event will be hosted by the University of Turin, 18-19 September 2025, and the deadline for submission of abstracts is 1 April 2025.

The topic of this year’s Sustainability Law PhD Seminar is the regulatory influence of international laws and policies on European economic actors. The seminar is hybrid, welcoming participants in Oslo as well as through zoom. This year’s seminar includes the launch of Research Handbook on International Solidarity and the Law (2024), edited by Cecilia Bailliet.

Sustainability Law seminar series consists of informal one-hour work-in-progress seminars most weeks.
