About the group
The group explores both traditional and more recent criminological theory. The group has regular meetings to discuss theory development in their own research and teaching.
At some of the meetings, the group invites students and guest lecturers to participate. The aim is to increase collaboration between staff and students, as well as improve students’ research projects. The guest lecturers are invited on the basis of their work with and use of criminological theory in their research.
Ambition
The group contributes to Norwegian criminology anchoring and renewing its theoretical repertoire, both by working with own theory development and in the study programs.
Duration
The group is active for 3 years from 1 August 2022.
