Background

Guro has a law degree from the University of Oslo (2017). She wrote her master's thesis in the field of copyright law. Guro comes from the position as senior advisor at the Ministry of Culture and Equality, section for copyright law and film, where she has worked since 2020. She has previously been a research assistant at the Norwegian Center for Human Rights (2016) and has worked as an associate lawyer from 2017-2020, mainly with property law and intellectual property law.

Guro started as a Doctoral Research Fellow at EURNOR in the spring of 2024. Her PhD project is article-based and examines regulatory challenges in implementing EU legislation on data and artificial intelligence.
