Background

Kristoffer have a Master in Law (2016), a BSc in Mathematics and Economics (2018) and a MPhil in Economics (2022) from the University of Oslo. He have worked, amongst other things, as a case handler at the pro bono intiative Gatejuristen (2013-2017) and as an associate and senior associate at the department of EU/EEA and competition law at Advokatfirmaet Thommessen (2018-2022).

Kristoffer started as a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Private Law in the spring of 2023. His PhD-project concerns the competition authorities' regulation of markets through the use of commitments in antitrust investigations pursuant to Article 9 of EU Regulation 1/2003 and remedies in merger control pursuant to Article 6(2) and 8(2) of EU Regulation 139/2004 (and the Norwegian and EEA equivalents).»
