Knut Selmers memorial lecture 2014

The Norwegian Association for Computers & Law has the pleasure of inviting you to the Knut Selmer Memorial Lecture 2014: Data protection in the Clouds - What Next for Europe? by Professor Christopher Millard.

Christopher Millard is Professor of Privacy and Information Law at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London. Millard has more than 30 years' experience in the field of ICT law, both as an academic and as a legal practitioner. 

He has led the Cloud Legal Research Project at Queen Mary since 2009 and is the editor of Cloud Computing Law, Oxford University Press (2013). Millard is also a former president of IFCLA (International Federation of Computer Law Associations). The lecture will focus on central data protection issues linked to the Cloud Legal Research Project as well as questions linked to the discussion on an 'EU-only cloud'.

 

Refreshments will be served after the memorial lecture in the NRCCL library.

 

Attendance is free and open to all.  However, registration is kindly requested at post@nfje.no  by no later than Tuesday 4th November 12 noon.
