Peter is writing a PhD on the regulation of cryptography as part of the Security in Internet Governance and Networks: Analysing the Law (SIGNAL) Project, hosted at the Norwegian Research Centre for Computers and Law.

About the Project

Peter is analysing the role of regulation in both promoting and undermining the use of strong encryption.

He is also examining future technological advancements that may impact the effectiveness of cryptography, such as quantum computing, and their possible effects on cybersecurity law and policy.

Goal

The PhD will be delivered spring 2021.
