More about the Conference
No Fees
The conference will be free of charge. There will be no registration fee, and all lunches and snacks during the conference will also be provided for registered attendees.
Social Programme
We start with the opening with some social program and drinks already on November 16th at 18:00 (Wednesday).
Conference Dinner
The conference dinner will be free of charge and will take place on the evening of November 17th.

How to get to the Faculty of Law, University of Oslo
From the Oslo Airport – Gardermoen, there are various trains to Oslo city center:
- Airport Express Train: From Oslo Airport to Nationaltheatret

Possible to buy via a machine at the airport or download an app called Flytoget. - Local train: From Oslo Airport to Nationaltheatret
Provider: VY - Price for four zones (from the airport – to the City): 114 NOK

Where to stay
The organizators do not cover accommodation. The participants are responsible for their accommodation in Oslo.
Oslo has a large number of options when it comes to accommodation. Hotels and Airbnb are good options. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide campus accommodation.
You may still be able to book a room at a privileged price at one of the hotels in the city center (price range from 1100 – 1500 NOK/person). Financial Support
We have set aside resources to support participation by scholars and teachers from outside of Norway who cannot otherwise afford the full cost of the Judges under Stress Final Conference. The deadline for registration is September 18th.
The decision process will consider the goal of broadening the geographical representation and support of early career researchers.
COVID-19 measures
We are currently planning for the Judges under Stress – Final conference to be an in-person, live conference event. Because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will strictly follow all relevant governmental and university policies about safety precautions, including those related to vaccinations, exemptions, quarantine, and masking. As this situation evolves, we will update you when information about protocols for the conference dates becomes available.
The Weather
November in Oslo might get pretty chilly, and we might also expect some snow at the period. The sun will set at around 4 o'clock. So keep that in mind when packing.
Insurance
The organizers do not accept liability for any injuries or losses incurred by participants and/or accompanying persons, nor for loss or damage to their luggage and/or personal belongings.
