Per Silnes Tandberg innleder om utfordringer og problemstillinger i møte mellom trygdeforordningens lovvalgsregler og folketrygdlovens medlemsregler. Presentasjonen vil ta for seg grunnleggende prinsipper for fastsettelse hvilken EØS-stats trygdelovgivning som gjelder og EØS-trygdelovvalgets rettslige implikasjoner på nasjonal trygdelovgivning. Også den norske konteksten vil belyses og det vil problematiseres i hvilken utstrekning utvalgte medlemsregler i folketrygdloven er i overensstemmelse med EØS-retten.

Professor Tarjei Bekkedal and Professor Mads Andenæs present their new article on the EEA Agreement and the Norwegian continental shelf. The reach of EEA Law is defined by functional notions. Geographical criteria are irrelevant. The EEA agreement is applicable to any activity that falls within the sovereignty/jurisdiction of the EU- and EFTA-states including on the continental shelf and in the exclusive economic zone.
