SODI-onsdag:eID management and regulation in Finland, Olli Norros, University of Helsinki
SODI-onsdag er en månedlig faglunsj i regi av forskningsprosjektet Societal security and digital identities (SODI). Forskningsprosjektet er tverrfaglig og skal undersøke hvordan juss og teknologi kan virke sammen for å sikre at alle har tilgang til en elektronisk identitet (for eksempel BankID) på høyt sikkerhetsnivå og at alle kan være trygge på at de ikke utsettes for digitalt identitetstyveri. På SODI-onsdag vil vi belyse ulike problemstillinger som er relevante for prosjektet.

Olli Norros will give a presentation on eID management and regulation in Finland, with an emphasis on liability rules for the holder of eID in cases of misuse and fraud. He will present cases from the Finnish Financial Services Complaints Board for consumers, including decisions dealing with the allocation of losses where eID has been misused by the holders spouse, cases where the holder has displaced his or her eID and cases of eID theft.
