Welcome to our hybrid Tuesday coffee seminar with presentation by Dr. Mirjam Twigt, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Criminology and Sociology of Law (IKRS), University of Oslo! 

The proposed Artificial Intelligence Act of the European Commission advances a by-design regulatory approach, akin to the principles of the GDPR. This approach assumes that in order to effectively shield human rights in the digital ecosystem it is necessary to incorporate ethical principles into the design of the system.
