International Refugee Law in non-signatory states

In her lecture, Professor Janmyr highlighted how “international refugee law ‘happens’ in non-signatory states, and non-signatory states also ‘do’ international refugee law”. She elaborated on this argument with examples from Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh.

Dr. M Sanjeeb Hossain, researcher in the ASILE project, followed with a presentation on Bangladesh as a non-signatory state. Hossain is also member of BEYOND's Advisory Board.
