Saudi Arabia's Forgotten Refugee Camps

Welcome to an event on Saudi Arabia's role in the international refugee regime, with a focus on the untold stories about the refugee camps in Rafha and al-Arthawiya.

Al-Arthawiya was one of two camps that housed some 33 000 individuals fleeing from the Gulf War in Iraq. Jafar Altememy, who arrived to Norway from Al-Arthawiya, is one of the guests telling the story of these camps. Photo: ICRC.
