New anthology on classical theorist

Eugen Ehrlich (1862-1922) is considered as one of the founding fathers of sociology of Law.

Professor Knut Papendorf, together with professor Stephan Machura and professor Anne Hellum, has edited an Anthology showing the relevance of Ehrlich to contemporary Research within the field of sociology of law.


The Anthology includes the following articles written by members of our department:
 

  • Knut Papendorf: A Voyage of Discovery: Eugen Ehrlich in Scandinavia
  • Monika Lindbekk: Between the Power of the State and the Guardianship of the Church: Orthodox Copts Seeking Divorce  


Professor Anne Hellum has an article entitled: Legal Pluralist Perspectives in Scandinavian and African Women’s Law
