Lecture on Women Refugees included in UN-library

Cecilia Bailliet’s lecture "Women Refugees and Gender Persecution" have been included in the United Nations Audiovisual Library of International Law. The Lecture series seeks to collect lectures of enduring value from leading international scholars on a wide array of subjects within International Law.

In her lecture Bailliet gives an overview of the central conventions and declarations regulating the status of women refugees. Among other things discusses the particular risks women experience before, under and after a situation of displacement, as well as states obligations (and failure to meet these).
