All language versions are numbered in the same way, so that every term or concept is attached to the same number, whatever the language used, in order to facilitate a comparison. The numbering is based on the alphabetical order in French, which explains why it does not match perfectly with the alphabetical order in other languages (in English in particular).
Glossaries
Under the coordination of Catherine Kessedjian and Arnaud de Nanteuil, a working group composed of members of the Forum has prepared a glossary of ISDS terms and concepts in the six United Nations official languages. This is with a view to assisting the UNCITRAL WG III process and helping delegations and other stakeholders to navigate with more clarity through the technical terms and concepts frequently used in ISDS.
