COPIID Data collection on ISDS compliance

Background

In the first phase of the COPIID project, we are seeking to understand the compliance process and outcome for each investor-state arbitration award and settlement. The data will be included in the Pluricourts Investment Treaty Arbitration Database (PITAD) and made publicly available.

Help needed

Tracking compliance is difficult though given the complexity of enforcement processes, different languages, and the lack of a public register.

We thus welcome input on information connected to compliance from government officials, claimant investors, lawyers, arbitrators, international organisations, academics and students.
