The project is a part of the research group Companies, Markets, Society and the Environment.
Objectives
The primary objective of the project is to study sustainable tax governance in developing countries in the era of global fiscal transparency. The project assumes that fiscal transparency is of utmost importance also for developing countries, in order to protect the tax base and increase tax revenue and to promote economic development and tax justice.
A further objective is to stimulate academic research in this field in all the collaborating countries.
Outcomes
The project participants aim at publishing the results of their research in specialized tax journals an other publications around the world, in different languages.
Research results will be communicated to Ministries of Finance in the participating countries.
