Candidates are selected by a panel of scholars, The Burgen Scholarship award covers all costs of attending the Academia Europaea Annual Conference (held in Bergen, 11-13 Sept 2012). The Academy of Europe - Academia Europaea - is a European association of scientists and scholars who collectively aim to promote learning, education and research, founded in 1988.
