On 7-8 April 2014, MultiRights organised its annual conference under the auspices of the Council of Europe.
The conference brought together a varied group of actors who debated scenarios for the future of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR):
- Human rights scholars,
- ECtHR and domestic judges
- Governmental experts from all 47 Council of Europe member States
- NGO representatives
- Representatives from other Council of Europe bodies.
