On 29 September, Jim Nickel will hold a MultiRights seminar about Support and Conflict within Systems of Rights: Ten Theses in which he will elaborate on the relationships between rights within particular systems.
He has also agreed to hold a lecture on "What Future for Human Rights?" at the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, on 28 September.
James W. Nickel holds a joint appointment in the Philosophy Department and the Law School at the University of Miami. He teaches and writes in human rights law and theory, political philosophy, philosophy of law, and constitutional law.
