Esben Esther Pirelli Benestad, born in1949, is a physician, family therapist, spescialist in clinical sexology, and professor of sexology at the University of Agder, Norway. Hir has been active as a trans- and sexuality activist for sevaral decades. Hir has fought for intersexed and transgifted individuals' right to self determined gender with more than two choices.
Benestad has for many years been present in the public as a transgifted person, hence giving at least one face to this diverse group of people.
Hir is also a proud father and grandfather.
