Sondre Dyrland, new Associate Professor at the Department of Energy and Resources Law

The Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law of the University of Oslo, is pleased to welcome Sondre Dyrland as new Associate Professor with the Department of Energy and Resources Law.

Sondre Dyrland works with topics within the energy field, concession law and contract law in particular.

He has extensive experience as a lawyer, where he has particularly assisted authorities and energy companies with advice and dispute resolution. Sondre also is an experienced arbitrator, and is engaged as a mediator in standard contract negotiations.

Sondre has a previous track record with us, both as former Research Assistant and as PhD Research Fellow with the Institute, and returns to us from Wiersholm Law Firm, where he has been a partner since 2016. He has previously been a partner in CMS Kluge Law Firm and worked with Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) and Hydro.
