The club arranges seminars hosted by The Department of Petroleum- and Energy Law at The Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law. It represents an arena for professional development, through providing lectures and discussions around definedactual and juridical topics.
The Petroleum-and Energy Judicial Club is approved as obligatory postgraduate education for lawyers. It is open for everybody, and particularly aimed at legal practitioners who work within the oil- and energy industry.
The seminars are held four to six times per year in the Oslo and Stavanger area, and usually in collaboration with The Norwegian Oil and Gas Association. The meetings in Oslo are held in Domus Media, Karl Johans gate 47, and usually begin at 17.00 with a social gathering with light refreshments.
