About the topic:

The current energy situation in Europe brought on by the Russian aggression in Ukraine has resulted in extreme energy prices and a consecutive political will in favour of government intervention and more bilateral supply agreements. This reflected notably a trend for European governments to take control over their energy needs. The past year was definitely a turbulent ride in the electricity markets, including for power exchanges.

Eivind Skjærven will present the surveillance perspective on the recent market events and consequences on markets transparency of possible changes in market design.
