About the project
Administrative measures and decisions are subject to a number of requirements. The thesis seeks to explore and discuss the consequences of these requirements not being met. If the administration should fail to meet the requirements relevant in the particular case, the question that arises is what consequences this will or should have. The administrative measure or decision may very well still be considered valid, or it may be considered void, partially void, or the administration might have a right, or an obligation to reverse their decision.
The relevant consequences depends on a broader assessment where not only the type and background of the error in question has to be taken into account, but also the interest of the persons affected, the time that has passed, and the cause of the error.
Objectives
The project is expected to be concluded in 2020, with the submission of the PhD thesis.
