About the project

Development work of the TRG CCNS includes expanding Norwegian-Danish cross-border collaboration and coordination of subsurface data and interpretations with Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland. CCNS will develop a subsurface baseline through comprehensive mapping of storage units in the region using seismic and well data. This TRG is led by Professor Alvar Braathen at the Department of Geosciences. NIFS participates with an investigation of the legal aspects.

Objectives

Two research assistants prepare their 60 ECTS masters' thesis withing the framework of this project.
