Utenrettslig løsning av konflikter ved bruk av mekling og oppmenn er brennaktuelt. Løsning kan skje tidligere, til lavere kostnader og på en enklere og bedre måte enn gjennom rettsapparatet. Meklingskonferansen har som mål å presentere bredden i utenrettslig konfliktløsning med vekt på forskningsbasert kunnskap og praktiske eksempler.

The programme includes 4 presentations covering specific legal consequences of the war in Ukraine at different levels of the legal systems: international, EU and national.
