The course was organized in collaboration with the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) and the Thai Department of Justice. The courses are part of the building of a Thai instructor corps that will be offered the so-called Training of Trainers (ToT) from 2020. In parallel with the course, the Steering Group to develop a United Nations protocol for interrogation and investigation with accompanying legal guarantees met. The steering group was convened to discuss the third draft of the protocol. I advance of the Steering Group meeting, a side event was held in collaboration with the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ). Course number two in Thailand this year in investigative interviewing took place in Bangkok in September. Forty officers from police, military and intelligence (of which 16 were women) attended the course.
