The workshop, jointly organized by the NCHR and Geneva Academy, aims to strengthen civil society by equipping selected academics with in-depth knowledge on how to utilize the UN human rights mechanisms in their home countries.
The workshop will run for five days and the participants will attend sessions with the Human Rights Council, in addition to lectures from various UN experts.
This year, the participants come from the ASEAN region, including China, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam are represented.
