The different lists that form the collection cover the following fields:

  • Legal Methodology
  • Legal Skills
  • Public International Law
  • International Criminal Law
  • Refugee and Migration Law
  • Human Rights
    • International Human Rights Law
    • Human Rights Methodology
    • Human Rights and Development
    • The European Court of Human Rights
  • International Humanitarian Law

The collection includes textbooks, handbooks and research handbooks published since 2015, as well as a variety of forthcoming titles, all of which were selected based on reviews by accredited sources, the authors’ academic affiliation and feedback provided by staff at NCHR and UiO’s Faculty of Law.

The lists of materials aim to be a reference for academics and practitioners around the world who wish to update their course curricula or libraries. To access them please visit the International Law Observer blog.
