The validation ceremony of the UN manual on Investigative Interviewing on 1 November 2023 marked a significant milestone in the ongoing work to establish an international norm on human rights compliant policing and criminal investigations.

More than 100 participants gathered in Beirut, Lebanon, to discuss human rights standards in Lebanese personal status laws. The seminar were facilitated by the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, together with Lebanese Foundation for Permanent Civil Peace (LFPCP), as a closing event of the six-months’ pilot project “Fostering Human Rights in Lebanese Religious Courts”. On the 7th December the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights hosted the Annual seminar on business and human rights as a part of the Oslo Peace Days. The annual seminar on business and human rights gives an opportunity for all stakeholders to come together and discuss the business and human rights field. This year, the panel was represented by academia, government, and civil society.
On 8.-12. November, a training workshop on the United Nations (UN) Human Rights Mechanisms took place in Geneva, Switzerland. Over the week, five participants from Thailand deepened their knowledge of the UN Human Rights Mechanisms, focusing on the Universal Periodic Review.
On November 20, 2021, the seminar "Business and Human Rights in the Chinese National Human Rights Action Plan" was held in Guangzhou. The seminar was co-organized by the Research Institute for Human Rights at Guangzhou University and Wuhan University in China.
