Seminar: Legal Aspects of Cloud computing

Cloud computing now makes up a great deal of new IT spending for many consumers, businesses, and governments. The rise of cloud computing has been clouded by the perception that this type of IT outsourcing can imply legal risks.

This seminar focuses on a selection of challenging legal issues, particularly including cloud contracts, data privacy and security. University researchers, practicing lawyers and computer scientists discuss how these challenges can be overcome. The seminar is sponsored by the EU-funded research project Coco Cloud.
