The VIROS project at the University invites researchers, policy-makers and the public to its 2022 symposium. The event is part of Oslo Innovation Week.

- Key-notes by Professor Fumio Shimpo, Japan, on legal issues of cybernetic avatars; and Professor Praminda Caleb-Solly, University of Nottingham on understanding gaps for healthcare professionals working alongside physically assistive robots (online presentation).
- Discussion of technical, legal and ethical issues related to smart robotics, especially when used in the context of health care.

The project is run by the Norwegian Research Center for Computers and Law (NRCCL) in collaboration with the ROBIN group.
